Hello,my name is Jayson More, former 1st round draft choice of the NY Rangers. I also played for the Sharks, Coyotes, Blackhawks and North Stars during my career and had the opportunity to play alongside Gretzky and Messier while with the Rangers. I’m looking forward to talking with Sharks fans throughout the season.Being one of the original Sharks from day one I have great memories of my time in the Bay area.

A pure goal scorer like the Shark Tank has ever witnessed left the fans with chills moments after the home opener.
Dan Heately put on a performance that has been unmatched by a player in Teal setting a record by finishing +6 for the game, nets his 3rd by most exciting way possible , a penalty shot. Impressive start for the Sharks and a defensemens nightmare trying to contain Thorton, Heatly and Setoguchi however the memory of last years great season and a first round defeat is still on everyone’s mind. It’s a long year but early season points are as important as the final weeks. The late season is the most exciting time of year when anything can happen however I’m impressed at the moves they have made to add much needed grit as it’s often over looked but definitely the glue that holds the team together. With a great coaching staff, a stonger more experienced defense this team will be fun to watch all season long.
Life after a great season then the comes the low’s of an early departure from what seemed possibly the Sharks best chance yet. Everyone in the Organization (and many fans) will spend the summer bitter! From the Zamboni driver up the chain of command to GM. What went wrong? Do we rebuild or retool?
The draft has not been Shark friendly with very few of the Shark’s first round picks consistently playing at the N.H.L level in the past 8 years so it was a blessing they didn’t have a draft pick in the 1st this year! These are some questions that were undoubtedly being asked a few weeks ago and it’s only a short time until we get some answers.

I can only imagine the endless days management has spent evaluating what changes are needed. After all , 53 wins is great but in reality it only gets you a ticket to the big dance.
When Head coach Todd McLellan states the leaders aren’t getting the job done! That certainly leads us to believe a big name may be on his way out but D.W claims Thornton & Boyle aren’t going anywhere!

Watch for Wilson who is a skilled expert to sign his key free agents and then make the trades needed to put this team over the hump. Doug has a canny way to target who he wants then get them in a Shark uniform when it seems like an impossible feat. He will get rid of any passengers on the bus in order to bring the Cup to SJ. Then Shark fans will get rewarded for their unwavering support.
